Press release. The performance “Natasha’s Dream” has won the Grand Prix of the VII Fairy Festival "Ya-mal, Hello!" (Novy Urengoy) and was praised by critics at the "Mask plus" project at XVI "The Golden Mask" Festival (Moscow).

On the 17th of March on the stage of the Meyerhold Theater-Cultural Centre Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater presented the show "Natasha's dream" written by Ya. Pulinovich (director D.Egorov, St.Ptersburg). This performance is included in the "New play" project of "Mask plus" program of "The Golden Mask" XVI Festival. The non-competitive program “Mask plus” was held in terms of "The Golden Mask" festival for the second time – the last year experience was useful and worth continuing. “Mask plus” complements the competitive program of “The Golden Mask” Festival expressing the variety and diversity of the contemporary theater.

The non-competitive program of 2010 has presented Russian performances recommended by “The Golden Mask” experts, shows from the Baltic countries and the CIS. The separate event of the “Mask plus” was the contemporary play program. It included reading-performances, shows, seminars and discussions – our theater’s performance “Natasha’s Dream” became a valuable part of the program.  
        
From the 18th to 23th of March, 2010 Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater took part in VII Fairy Festival "Ya-mal, Hello!" (Novy Urengoy). During 5 days of the festival theater troupes from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Zelenograd, Novy Urengoy, USA and Bulgaria presented eleven performances, most of them are for young audience aged from 5 to 10.

In festival’s program there are performances for “The overcoat” (“Credo” theater from Sofia, Bulgaria) show “Alex the Jester” played by Alexander Feldman (Boston, USA). Foreign guests at the festival became a tradition – leading specialists in the theater art production-designer Victor Shilkrot (Moscow), Hisashi Shimoyama (Okinawa, Japan) and Roberto Frabetti – the artistic director of “La Barraca” theater (Bologna, Italy) were leading the master-classes and seminars.

Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater presented the drama for teenagers “Natasha’s dream” by Yaroslava Pulinovich, which was rated for 15+ audience. “Natasha’s dream” consists from monologues of sixteen years old girls with different social background. Their stories about love, friendship, parents and equals in age reveal the image of our world as it is in its true colors.

The jury in the festival was children aged from 6 to 15. They watched all the performances carefully and decided to give the Grand Prix of the festival to Saratov Kiselev Theater’s performance “Natasha’s dream”.  During the festival well-known Russian professional theater critics have been working. Such as Oleg Loevsky (Yekaterinburg), Natalia Kaminskaya (“The Culture” newspaper, Moscow), Alexander Vislov (“The Literature Newspaper”, Moscow). They expressed their opinions about the performances and praised the acting of Saratov actress playing all the parts in the performance – Olga Lisenko.
