The opening night for the performance took place in 2008.

The author of the play “Five-Twenty Five” is a young St. Petersburg playwright Danila Privalov, he defined the genre of his play as a “depressive comedy with a happy ending”. The play holds inevitable circumstances of modern life:  mass culture, TV-show’s esthetic, drugs, loneliness, incomprehension. But it’s just circumstances in which love story takes place, a modern story of Romeo and Juliet. The performance of this play is about the main values of life: about love, about the importance of Life, about feelings and the fact that one should be able to express his feelings when the time comes. Life is given for us once only and we are the ones to decide how to live it.
