A magical and prankish fairy tale by Arthur Artimeniev "The Bicycle with Red Wheels" (based on works of Ruth Park) has been staged in Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater. Arthur Artimeniev is a director, who is known to the Saratov audience for his performance "SQUAT" written by J.-M. Chevret.

"The Bicycle with Red Wheels" is a comedy that tells us about three funny little animals who live in distant Australia. The field mouse, the Australian wombat and the Striped cat dream about traveling on their own bicycle with reed wheels. A wombat is a clumsy and fatty animal that lives in Australia. For the funny Wombat and the Field Mouse the dream about the red bicycle is the mot important thing in their lives. But what is even more important is to find true friends. Even the tricky Striped cat understands that. This bright and touching story could be understood by the youngest spectators.

Arthur Artimeniev, the director of the performance, thinks that the tale will be a spectacular show full of games and adventures that will be created in front of the audience. The performance is in one act. A lot of extraordinary adventures and trials are waiting for the characters and the audience, and in the end it will became clear that friendship is indeed a miracle that makes our dreams come true.
