Press-release. On the 24th of December, 2009 the benefit performance of RF Meritorious actress Tamara Lykova and premiere of the performace "Squat" written by Jean-Marie Chevret will take place.

Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater has prepared the performance for the play “Squat” by J.-M. Chevret timed to the project “the Year of France in Russia and the Year of Russia in France” announced in 2010 with support of the French Culture Center (Moscow) and The Alliance Française Saratov. The opening night of the performance and the benefit performance of RF Meritorious actress Tamara Lykova will take place on the 24th of December. Tamara Lykova plays the leading part of Marivonne Dupre in the performance.

Lykova Tamara Konstantinovna graduated from the drama studio in Saratov Youth Theatre in 1960, then in 1978 she received a tertiary education, she studied at the philology department of N. G. Chernyshevsky Saratov State University, qualification “Russian Language and Literature”. She joined the theatre troupe in 1960. Tamara Konstantinovna is a hoped-for actress for the theatre she is always responsible and reasonable in her work. Elegance, sincerity, irony, high mastered acting skills are the most remarkable features of her gift.

She successfully copes with challenging parts , she plays in performances of very different genres and epochs. That is why Tamara Konstantinovna is always recognized by the audience, each her part leaves a strong impression. Her brilliant acting, true knowing of the stage secrets could be seen in such performances as “The Scarlet flower” where she plays the Child Nurse, “They are For Ever and Aye Alive” wh ere she is Nurka, a bread-slicer,  in “The Sheep and The Wolfs” she outstandingly plays the part of Murzavetskaya, Filicata in “The Transparent Apples”. Another remarkable parts that she is playing in the current theater repertoire are the part of Paskudina in «The Uncle Dream», Mag Folan in « The Beauty Queen from Leenan», The Milk, The Night, The Lime-tree Spirit, The Luxury of Satisfied Vanity in “The Blue Bird” fairy tale.

She plays in modern and classic plays with the same devotion and unique manner of acting.

In 1997 by the Decree of the RF President Tamara Konstantinovna Lykova  was awarded with a Medal of “The Order of Merit for the Fatherland” (II degree).
