From the 11th to 25th of October famous theater director Matthias Langhoff (France) visited Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater.

Matthias Langhoff is one of the top ten world famous directors. His shows were performed on major European stages. He was a manager of Vidy Theater in Lausanne in Switzerland. He is an Officer of the Legion of Honor. Langhoff was invited to visit Russia during the 150th Chekhov's jubilee by the president of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. The play "Inspector" staged by Mattias Langhoff was shown during the 5th Anton Chekhov International Theater Festival.

Matthias Langhoff visited Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater for the opening night of the performance «The Curse of the Starving Class» by Sam Shepard staged by well-known director Lee Breuer and to meet our theater's personnel and workshops. The joint project of the theater with Mr. Langhoff is planned for 2011. The project will be going with the support of French Cultural Center in Moscow.

Saratov Academic Kiselev Youth Theater presents the opening night of the fairy tale performance “The Hedgehog and the Christmas Tree” based on the play by Sergey Kozlov on the Small Stage on the 27th of December, 2012.

From the 3rd to 6th of December 2012 the festival-laboratory “The Forth Height. From A to Z: An alphabet of children’s theater” took place in Saratov Academic Kiselev Youth Theater.
