On the 13th of May 2011 Saratov Academic Kiselev Youth Theater took part in the XII International theater festival "Rainbow" in St. Petersburg with "The Curse of the Starving Class" written by Sam Shepard, staged by Lee Breuer (USA).

The International Theatre Festival "Rainbow" is held in Saint-Petersburg. Professional theatres for children and youth take part. Particular attention is devoted to contemporary plays for teenagers and young people in dramatic theatre. The festival program includes seminars for the heads of the theatres, art directors and chief producers, pedagogues and playwriters. Festival “Rainbow” invites renowned theatre heads to participate in seminars.

During the XII festival in May 2011 Lee Breuer gave a master-class for actors and other interested guests participating in the festival.

"The Curse of the Starving Class" festival performance was a great success, St.Petersburg journalists called it a headliner of the wide and interesting festival program.

tjg. theater junge generation (Dresden, Germany) presents the puppet performance of the play by Christopher Marlowe «The History of Doctor Faust» on the 19th and 20th of April 2013 on the Small stage of Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater.

Saratov Kiselev Youth Theater presents the opening-night of the performance “Saint Johanna” based on the play by Bertolt Brecht that will take place on the Big stage of the theater on the 10th of April, 2013 at 18-00. Director – Andreas Merz (Germany).

Saratov Academic Kiselev Youth Theater presents the opening night of the fairy tale performance “The Hedgehog and the Christmas Tree” based on the play by Sergey Kozlov on the Small Stage on the 27th of December, 2012.

From the 3rd to 6th of December 2012 the festival-laboratory “The Forth Height. From A to Z: An alphabet of children’s theater” took place in Saratov Academic Kiselev Youth Theater.
