The Russian Federation Government Prize Awards named after F.Volkov were held. During the course of the XII International Theatre Festival named in honor of Fyodor Volkov Saratov Youth Theatre presented "The Imaginary Invalid" performance. Saratov Academic Kiselev Youth Theatre took part in the XII International Theatre Festival of Fyodor Volkov which had been proceeding from November 3 to 12 in the city of Yaroslavl. The prize-giving ceremony of Volkov’s award took place on November 3rd. Our theatre was honored to receive the award from the legendary founder of the "Taganka" theatre Yuri Lyubimov, the festival’s guest of honor. And on November 5th the showing of Saratov Youth Theatre performance "The Imaginary Invalid" by Moliere took place, which was a success (the director of the project – a well-known theater director Anatoly Praudin (St. Petersburg), the production designer - Anatoly Shubin (Yekaterinburg). The motto of the Volkov’s Festival this year was "Russian drama in the languages of the world", but there was made an exception especially for Saratov Kiselev Theatre, because the organizers took interest in the unusual premiere production of "The Imaginary Invalid", which the audience happened to see for the first time in Saratov at the beginning of this theatre season, on September 6, 2011.
